Using Agentic Localization

Agentic Mode helps you get translations that feel natural and human-like, not robotic. It does this by letting several AI agents work together on your text instead of using just one translation pass. You can enable it in both Playground and Localization Tables on the platform, as well as using it in the interface.

Where you’ll see it

  • Playground: Bottom-right corner, next to the Translate button.

  • Localization Tables: At the bottom of Step 4, under the Generate Localization Table button.

  • API: Available through the /translation/agentic-translate endpoint.

What happens when it’s ON

  • The system picks the best translation model for your language pair.

  • Several AI agents review and refine the translation.

  • They run a few quick passes, improving grammar, word choice, and style.

  • The final result is checked against a fluency metric to make sure it reads smoothly in the target language.

Result: More natural translations with fewer errors, saving you editing time.

Tip: Keep Agentic Mode ON when quality matters most (games, apps, UI, marketing). Turn it OFF if you just need a quick draft.

Response: You’ll get a task_id you can use to check progress.

Extra options

  • prompt: Add context (e.g. “fantasy game dialogue” or “marketing style”).

  • ignoreCache: Force a new translation instead of reusing cached results.

  • Webhook: Add X-Webhook-Url header to get results pushed to your server automatically.
